It was lovely to look back on the most liked photos on Instagram and discover that they were all about recycled glass!
I love making beads from recycled glass, and I am so grateful for the opportunities to exhibit my work in so many amazing galleries around Australia.
It was a great experience taking this work to markets, and talking to people about the process and the product. My favourite compliment was “this is the ultimate in recycling.”
2017 saw a big push for me with my recycled glass jewellery, and I’m looking forward to exploring it further in 2018.
It’s sale table time at T’Arts!
Yay, it’s always so much fun to put work together for this event. It starts today, and will go for a couple of weeks. I have a big range of heavily discounted work. You’ll find all sorts of necklaces and earrings there.
I just wanted to stop by and say a BIG thank you to everyone who has supported my business this year. Whether you shopped local, stopped to see me at a market, or shopped online, your support means everything to me.
I am looking forward to a little break with my family while we celebrate the festive season together. It’s time to tidy my desk, have a bit of a rest, and start making some plans for 2018!
Once again, thank you, I am so grateful that I get to do what I do.
It’s no secret, I do love the colour wheel, I love rainbows, and I love the way colours sit next to each other like this!
For these beads, I used a clear base and added the colours to it, which has made the beads really sparkly with lots of amazing colour.
Both of these items have sold, but do let me know if you’d like something similar to this.
This will be my last market for the year, and I’m really looking forward to it! It’s such a beautiful location, and an opportunity for a lovely day out really.
Where: Harts Mill, Port Adelaide
Days and times are listed below.
I just wanted to say a big sparkly THANKS to everyone who visited me at the Etsy market in Norwood yesterday. It was a beautiful evening for a market, and was made really special by the huge crowds and the amazing sellers too! I loved being part of it all. It was so much fun talking to everyone about what I do. One person even commented on the recycled glass jewellery, saying “This is the ultimate in recycling!”
My last market for the year is next weekend. Friday 15 and 16 December at Harts Mill, Port Adelaide. I’ll pop by with more details later in the week, but here is the Facebook link in case you are interested.
Totally loving this necklace, and the colour and the dots….
I have had a lovely day driving to the Barossa Valley! I delivered some new brightly coloured recycled glass jewellery to Bethany Wines. I love using their wine bottles, and I am thrilled that their customers are enjoying the jewellery on display there.
I am getting ready to do this lovely Etsy market on Saturday. I’ll have lots of recycled glass jewellery and all sorts of other pieces available too. Hope to see you there:
Where: Corner of Portrush Road and the Parade, Norwood
When: Saturday 9 December from 4pm until 9pm
I thought I would include some pretty summery colours in this colour play series, and this is what I ended up making:
