Green bracelet

recycled green glass bracelet

Remember this necklace? Well, I had all of the seed beads still on my table, and I thought it would be nice to make a bracelet to match it. The two strands sit nicely on the wrist, making it comfortable to wear.

Colour Wheel Jewellery #4

colour wheel necklace

What a lovely time I have had with Colour Play for this month. I have made all sorts of necklaces and earrings with the Colour Wheel as the theme! These pieces are available for sale in my online shop.  If you are interested, here is a recap of the previous weeks. It was all about… Read More

Purple and Brown

recycled glass bracelet

I think purple and brown is a delicious colour combination. I have used purple frit to decorate some beads made from a wine bottle, and added some Coopers Ale beads in for good company.

Pink Depression Glass Bracelet

recycled glass bracelet

I had some beads leftover from the Pink Depression Glass test beads that I made, so I decided to mix them with some of the silver and gold pixie dust wine bottle beads! Well, I have to say, they mix really well together, the end result is a very pretty, delicate and feminine bracelet.

Tanqueray Gin Bottle

recycled glass necklace

I have tried some different types of glass this week.  Friday. Saturday. And some different types of jewellery! Tuesday. Wednesday. Thursday. Today I have made the beads from a Tanqueray Gin bottle (super amazing bright green), and made a necklace with these beads that is really quite different from anything I have made before. It… Read More

Pink Depression Glass

depression glass earrings

A while ago I found a little Pink Depression Glass bowl in an antique shop. It was slightly damaged, so they were happy to sell it to me for a fair price. It has taken a while to break it down and make beads from it, but I have finally done that! I have kept… Read More

Happy Australia Day!

recycled glass necklace

I have tried to capture the colours of the beautiful countryside that I am surrounded by in this necklace that I made this morning.  I have made the beads from a Stone’s Green Ginger Wine bottle (from Renmark)! Happy Australia Day!

Something a little bit different

recycled glass lariat

Over the many years that I have been making jewellery, I have collected lots of different types of seed beads. I used to use seed beads a lot, but I haven’t used them for a long time. The other day I was thinking about making a lariat, and trying to work out how to achieve… Read More

Oh, these are lovely too!

recycled glass earrings

Yesterday I showed you the earrings with three beads like this.  I have been wearing them ever since I made them, and they are so comfortable that I forgot I was wearing them, and accidentally went swimming in the ocean with mine on today!  I am pleased to report, they survived! Today I have made… Read More

Oh my gosh, these earrings!

recycled glass earrings

A little while ago I made a necklace that featured Coopers Ale beads with gold leaf on them. Someone left a very kind comment saying they would like a pair of earrings like that, so it got me to thinking: how could I make earrings like that? Here is the end result! I tried this… Read More
