Back from holidays

I have been enjoying a few incredibly beautiful and relaxing days in Marion Bay. Such a lovely part of the Southern Yorke Peninsula. We went swimming and squidding, and lots of lovely walks. No internet for me was a bonus! Now it’s back to reality. But that’s OK, I quite like my reality too 🙃

Murray Bridge Show

Big congratulations to the Murray Bridge Show for actually holding a show this year. I was raised in the… Read More

Recycled glass bead necklace

recycled glass bead necklace

Some new jewellery for @tartscollective today! A long necklace featuring beads made from recycled glass objects. Spending the day in the shop is one of my favourite things to do on a Saturday. Love the trip to Adelaide and a chance to check out a few shops.

New glass beads

Some interesting beads came out of the kiln today! I am really liking these muted colours and can’t wait to clean them all and start making jewellery. I am working on a small collection of pieces for my next newsletter which will go out towards the end of the week. Have you subscribed?

I made it through winter….

Julie Frahm Glass jewellery

When I started my #makingitthroughwinter2021 challenge, I had the idea it should last for 100 days, even though by then winter would be well and truly over! And now that I have made it through winter, things are getting busier, so while I didn’t end up doing 100 days, I did make it through winter.… Read More
