Spent a lovely morning playing with paints, textas, pencils and collage with @reneegouldingart ! It was great to have a go at something creative that is honestly way outside my comfort zone. Renee gave us so many tips and techniques to try and I am looking forward to filling my sketchbook with colourful flower pictures. It also gave me a chance to reconnect with the idea of playing with new ideas, so I am hoping some of this creativity will flow through to my beads and jewellery. Always good to try new things.
My morning at T’Arts
Had a lovely morning rearranging the whole shop at @tartscollective today. My display has moved into the main gallery space and we have two new artists joining our collective @norigami.origami and @nomadfarms. Their work is beautiful and a great addition to the gallery. Check them out next time you visit!

Newsletter subscribers will be the first to know when they are ready. There will be a mix of Italian and Recycled glass earrings. And mixed bead bracelets. Stay tuned or subscribe to my newsletter.

Sorting beads
I have been looking at that big pile of beads and haven’t really known where to start! So I have started with simply sorting the beads into colour schemes. Colour is a big part of what I do, so this made the most sense to me. Next I will start looking at bead styles. I am not in a rush to get this done, and I want to appreciate and document the process so I can look back on it some day.
