Gold wine bottle and pearl earrings

Gold wine bottle and pearl earrings

Day 152. Slightly different variation from yesterday. The recycled glass beads are made from a wine bottle and decorated with gold pixie dust.

Green Depression Glass Earrings

Green Depression Glass Earrings

Day 150. So happy to hear that SALA exhibitions are starting to be confirmed. As long as exhibitions comply with current social distancing rules, they can go ahead. I have been in a bit of limbo for a few months, one exhibition was cancelled already, but yesterday my exhibition at @stationmaster5255 gallery in Strathalbyn was confirmed and… Read More

Moet champagne and pearl earrings – take two

Moet champagne and pearl earrings

Day 149. On day 128 I made a pair of earrings with similar beads to the earrings features here, however today I have joined the beads separately, giving them a lot more swing. The beads in this pair of earrings were made from a champagne bottle.

Day 148. Another small tweak! I like how the little Moet champagne bottle bead sits under the pearl. Love this combination.

Hendricks Gin and Pearl Earrings

Hendricks Gin and Pearl Earrings

Day 147! Sometimes it just takes a tiny change to create a new pair of earrings. On day 46 I used these pearls in a slightly different way, so it was nice to revisit these pearls and make a different pair of earrings. The small bead was made from a Hendricks Gin – Limited Release… Read More

Red, black and white mismatched earrings

Red, black and white mismatched earrings

Day 146. Bracing myself for winter! That’s when this challenge gets really challenging. Shorter daylight hours and a colder studio makes it harder to get motivated some days. Not long now!

Orange mismatched bird and flower earrings

Day 145. I do love the birds and flowers together as a mismatched pair of earrings. And I loved the little nest the bird is sitting on. I have been finding old beads to make these pairs, but I think they might be something I make more of because the response has been really lovely.… Read More

Purple and blue earrings

Purple and blue earrings

Day 144. I had some beads leftover after putting all of my newsletter jewellery together, so I made these earrings because I really liked the colours! My newsletter will be out a bit later today featuring 8 new earrings, 2 bracelets and a necklace. Special prices for newsletter subscribers!

Black and white prototype earrings

Black and white glass earrings

Day 143. Black and white. Classic. Trying out an addition to these long earrings, a little hook to catch the back of the earring. Not quite perfect, yet, but I like the idea.
