Day 56. Green recycled glass beads from a mix of objects with freshwater pearls.

Day 55. A bracelet with a mix of handmade recycled glass beads and freshwater pearls.

Day 54. Continuing the gold theme! And the pearl theme. The glass beads were made from a wine bottle. Love all of those colours together.

Day 53. I am enjoying making a small selection of gold and pearl earrings. This pair also features handmade recycled glass beads made from a Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice gin bottle.

Day 52. Recycled glass beads made from a Bombay Sapphire Gin bottle, with beautiful pearls and gold earring hooks.

Day 51. Over halfway and I only just got something made today! I used some more of the beaded beads to make a little bracelet. It’s such a soft bracelet to wear, really sweet.

Day 50. Halfway through this daily creative challenge to help me make it through winter and I found myself digging through some old beads again. These long beads are actually made from tiny beads stitched together. I made hundreds of them when I was travelling back to Australia from the USA, when I couldn’t make glass beads. I needed a little project, and stitching these beads together was slow and exactly what I needed after my year overseas.

Day 49. To match yesterday’s yellow and grey bracelet.

Day 48. Inspired by the Pantone 2021 colours of the year! A mix of handmade glass beads and pearls. I like the way the colours are described on the Pantone website “Practical and rock solid but at the same time warming and optimistic.”
