Day 14. Some leftover beads from yesterday’s bracelet to make some cute, mismatched earrings today.

Day 13. Have you ever had one of those days where you have to be somewhere, but you get a flat tyre, then you try to change the tyre, and when you get the spare tyre out you find an old bracelet, and you wonder how that got there, but you don’t have time to think about it too much, and then the next day you sit down to make something for your daily challenge, and you see some beads that will look nice with some of the beads in the recently discovered bracelet, so you take the bracelet apart and mix in some new beads, and end up with a bracelet like this? No? Just me then? OK. The top photograph is the old bracelet.

Day 12. Another bracelet today, in blues and greens this time. Loving the mix of beads.

Day 11. Today I had THAT feeling as I sat down to make something. The pressure of having to make something, knowing I had a busy day ahead! Just make something, just make something. And as I looked at beads, and turned them over in their boxes, suddenly the red frit beads appeared and I thought, I can work with this. A few other bead boxes later and I had made a bracelet. Phew. Now to get on with the rest of the day!

Day 10. I had one wave bead left from the latest batch, so I thought I would add some more blue beads, and voila! A bracelet!

Day 9. I am going to let these necklace ideas sit for a while before I decide which one I am going to finish. The necklace on the right just has one more copper tube added to it to take it from an asymmetrical look to a more square look. Various recycled glass beads in between. Any preferences?

Day 8. This is what I love about a daily creative challenge. The push to make something every day, and you really never know what you are going to make! Today I was making stud earrings for a recent order, and as I was doing that I happened to look at the other beads on my desk, and thought, they could work. I wasn’t able to find a matching, or even mismatching pair, but I got close! And I love that while this pair isn’t quite perfect, it has opened up some new ideas for me. Thank you day 8.

Day 7. Today I made headpins! I use these sterling silver headpins for all of my earrings, long and short. It’s a lovely process, with lots of steps, and worth the effort. I also wanted to tell you that this is the final week to pop into @tartscollectiveto see my window exhibition with @tangerinemeg ! We are packing it up Saturday after the shop closes. Thanks to everyone who has already visited!

Day 6. Today I am finishing making these necklaces for @thelastofthecreatives market at Crafers! Doors open at 11 and close at 3. Lots of lovely stallholders here today and an easy drive up or down the freeway. Everyone has special EOFY offers, well worth the visit.

Day 5. I have been busy making all sorts of mismatched and matching earrings for tomorrow’s @thelastofthecreatives market! I am still making earrings this afternoon, and thinking about all of the super special offers I will have tomorrow on new and old pieces of jewellery.
