Always some of my favourite beads to make! The fine silver wire wrapped around the beads (while they are hot) and then melted in, are so sparkly when they come out the kiln. These beads were made from a @bethanywines_barossa Chardonnay bottle and then decorated with smashed up pieces of glass for some subtle colour.
Starting to make the earrings for a small collection of jewellery for @bethanywines_barossa ! The beads in this range are all made from two different Chardonnay bottles from the winery, 2 different colours, making a nice contrast in the jewellery. Here are the first 4 pairs of earrings.
Happy days in my happy place! It has been busy at @tartscollective today. Lots of interstate visitors, lots of people already thinking about Christmas. My work has moved into a new display and I have had fun playing with that in between the busy moments. I love being able to display a mix of my recycled and Italian glass bead jewellery; something for everyone.

Spent a lovely morning kayaking around the lagoons and along the Murray River, gathering photo inspiration for an exhibition I am starting to think about. I am liking how much this has got me thinking about how to turn some of this waterscape inspiration into beads and jewellery!
Things are slowly but surely selling out in my Etsy shop and I am so grateful to everyone who has stopped by to make a purchase this week. The 10% discount is available until the end of October, or until items sell out. I am not renewing listings on Etsy so when they are sold, they are gone. I am winding things up online as I really want to focus on making more one-off pieces going forward.
