Farewell 2025

When I look at these 9 photos — my most-liked posts of the year — I’m filled with happiness. I love doing this little collage each December; it’s a chance to pause and notice what I was making and what resonated with others.

For many years, this grid has been mostly recycled glass, so I am happy to see a piece from my Melted Moments project here. But what really makes my heart swell is how many of these images are from something new I began this year: flower sticks. They’ve quietly (and then not so quietly!) taken over my world, in the very best way.

Making new things is hard. Putting them out there is harder. So seeing how warmly these pieces have been received makes all the effort feel so worth it. I also love that the bees are starting to appear, from my SALA exhibition to the blue-banded bees now finding their way into the mix.

Thank you for being here with me this year — for the likes, the messages, the encouragement and the shared joy in small, handmade things. Here’s to continuing to make, experiment, and play in 2026.
