I have been so lucky to see Yayoi Kusama exhibitions two times this year. First in Melbourne, and recently in Tokyo. I am channeling a little bit of inspiration from those visits into some new work. Here’s a sneak peak!

Love working with recycled glass. This is the first time making the flowers from a wine bottle and love the subtle finish.

Ready to go! Smashing bottles is definitely a fun part of my job! Next step is to make some test beads.

What do these two wine bottles have in common? They are both Riesling wines from the Clare Valley. They will both be smashed today so I can start working on some pieces for an upcoming exhibition in the Clare Valley. I love their similarities and I love the subtle difference in colours too. I am very excited about this project.

My Etsy shop is open again! I have returned from an amazing trip to Japan and looking forward to getting on the torch again! So many moments of inspiration along the way.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to my mandarine tree for giving me all of the little twigs that feature in the flower stick vases. I spray the twigs with silver to give them a little extra sparkle. As a mandarine tree, it wasn’t great! But as a feature twig provider, it’s doing a great job!

The other day I tried to find an old necklace that I thought I had in my collection and ended up finding all sorts of old beads and pieces! Mixed in with some of my more recent beads I think this necklace will be the perfect necklace to travel with as it has all of my current clothes colours in it! Don’t forget orders in my Etsy shop close in just a few days.

Heads up. I am temporarily closing my Etsy Shop while I have a bit of a holiday. Last day to place orders will be Monday April 7. I will reopen the shop on Monday April 28.
