Day 298. A lovely friend gave me this jug quite a while ago, and it took some time to find the courage to smash this lovely piece! The test beads are awesome, the glass is a gorgeous green. Sorry it took so long!

Day 297. Gin and tonic earrings, this time featuring the small blue beads made from a Citadelle Gin bottle.

Day 296. THAT blue is turning up in all sorts of earrings at the moment! It is such a stunning colour, and goes so beautifully with the green beads in this pair of cluster earrings.

Day 295. That deep blue just looks awesome with all sorts of colours. Last few earrings being made for @stationmaster5255 gallery and heading there this morning for my shift in the gallery! Beautiful day for a drive to Strathalbyn.

Day 294. Getting ready to take some new pieces to @stationmaster5255 gallery in Strathalbyn tomorrow! I will be in the gallery from 10-1. Love how these earrings turned out, gorgeous colours.

Day 293. There are all sorts of “skills” needed to make beads like this and clearly I need to work on them 🙂.

Day 292. A bit of fun for Sunday! I remember when I first started making beads, and all I had were other people’s ideas as a starting point. So I would practice making beads with their ideas, until one day…I kind of worked out the beads I like to make. But the practice was great, because I tried skills I didn’t have, and sometimes kept trying, and sometimes moved onto other skills that would help me. I was thinking about that recently, about how I could probably improve some of my lampworking skills. So I have put together a list of ideas, and tried making these beads yesterday. I have to say, I actually like how they turned out!!

Day 291. The enamel doesn’t quite look perfect, but at least it matches the beads nicely.

Day 290. A super cute pair of earrings. I discovered today that ladybirds like to eat aphids! Did you know that? And there I was thinking they were just super cute 🐞

Day 289. Ladybird earrings. I put them on my list of things to try, and I finally got around to it! I like that they are kind of looking at each other.
