Day 238. Working on some more earrings like this because they are a lot of fun to wear and a lot of fun to make. These beads were made from tonic bottles.

Day 237. Two hundred and thirty seven pairs made, 129 days to go until the end of this daily challenge. Not sure how I feel about that!

Day 236. Handmade recycled glass beads made from a wine bottle, mixed with freshwater pearls. Classic, everyday earrings.

Day 235. Such a cold and wintry day here in South Australia, but lovely to hear that people are getting out to see @salafestivalexhibitions! Big thanks to everyone who has travelled to Strathalbyn to visit my exhibition at @stationmaster5255gallery. It’s such a lovely town, and so many nice places for a coffee. My work will be there through September, and I am taking some new pieces there tomorrow to fill a few gaps. I made these earrings today and love the rich red and purples.

Day 234. I have had quite a lovely day. I drove to Strathalbyn for a radio interview with Happy FM. It was nice to talk about my art and it was also wonderful to see all sorts of pieces from my SALA exhibition have already sold. While I was at the gallery a lady was looking at my work because she had seen it advertised in SA Life magazine! All of these amazing opportunities thanks to @salafestival and @stationmaster5255gallery. I am incredibly grateful for the support and opportunity to showcase this new range of work. Today’s earrings are inspired by some comments about my work and how beautiful blue and green look together.

Day 233. These might just be my favourite pieces of jewellery this year! Very rich colours, love the styles of beads used in the necklace and bracelet, and the earrings are simple but extremely colourful.

Day 232. Transparent yellow glass is kind of rocking my world at the moment. I wasn’t sure how it was going to turn out, I haven’t ever really used it before, but I love how bold it is in these earrings.

Day 231. These earrings! The colours are stunning. And because I have used transparent glass to make them, when the light hits them they are even more stunning.

Day 230. A slightly restyled earring from the other day, adding a jump ring for the beads to sit on, adding another bead in between the short and long beads. Similar to yesterday, but still different. I like taking these ideas and seeing where they go.

Day 229. Ah, this is more like it. I still have an idea smouldering from yesterday, but this style really appealed to me today. I have ended up wearing them because they go perfectly with my favourite dark green speckled with colour jumper! I rarely keep my own jewellery, but this pair is just lovely and fun to wear.
