Green Depression Glass Earrings

Green Depression Glass Earrings

I have made 12 pairs of Green Depression Glass earrings to celebrate the end of this year! It is a lovely little collection of some of my favourite styles of earrings, made with one of my favourite recycled glass objects to work with. If you like earrings or you like Green Depression Glass, check them out in my online shop.

My last market for 2019

This is my last market for 2019. And I’m so excited to be attending this one with a group of South Australian artists/makers I thoroughly admire for not only their talent, but commitment to using repurposed and reclaimed materials.

Some days…

Blue recycled glass earrings

Some days I feel like I could write a book about how it feels to sit down and make something every day. Today, feeling slightly overwhelmed with life and stuff, I knew I needed to make something, I knew I would not feel worse for making something, and I might even feel a little bit better. And then I made these earrings, and I felt like a tiny part of today felt pretty darned good. For a little while anyway.

Thank you, thank you

broken glass ready to make recycled glass beads

A big thanks to everyone who has supported my little business this year. It has been lovely to meet so many of you at the markets I have done. Yesterday in the Barossa Valley was just beautiful (ok, maybe a tad windy)! I have one more market before Christmas and that is Posh Markets at Harts Mill in Port Adelaide. Friday from 5-9, and Saturday/Sunday from 10-4. I will tell you more about that in a post this week. The photographs are of the broken bottles I use to make recycled glass beads. This is something I have been making for 10 years now, and I love it more every year. Happy Sunday!

Thank you for supporting my little creative business

So grateful to everyone who helped organise the @etsyadelaide Etsy Made Local market on Saturday. The day was incredible and it was lovely to see so many of my lovely regular customers there. Thank you for still liking my work enough to buy it again! I love making glass beads and jewellery, but there are only so many earrings this girl can wear! Thank you for supporting me and my little creative business that I am still incredibly passionate about even after all these years! My next market is the Adornment Market in Tanunda on Saturday from 3-7pm. Maybe I will see some of you there? Lovely drive and always lots of lovely things to do in the Barossa Valley!

Today’s job! Turning all of this into shiny and sparkly new recycled glass earrings for Etsy Made Local on Saturday! Hope to see you there. My stall will be one of the last stalls you will see if you come from Unley Road! Or one of the first if you are coming along the other way. Hope to see you there.
