Ideas are funny things.
These birds?
They didn’t work. At all.
But sometimes the “fail” is just a detour.
Sometimes it’s a pause.
Sometimes it’s the thing that nudges you toward something better.
And sometimes — if you’re patient —
the idea comes back and works when you least expect it.
Making is a bit like that.
Messy. Frustrating. Magical.
These birds won’t be part of my next Etsy release.
They aren’t right yet.
So I’m pivoting — toward a new idea that I’m genuinely excited about.
Maybe one day I’ll return to the birds.
For now, I’m letting them percolate
while I pour everything into meeting my March 7 deadline.
