Melted Moments Monday. I have been making beads from recycled glass for over 16 years and I feel like I have always embellished green bottles with green frit (smashed up glass). So when someone asked me to make a pair of earrings that had browns and greens, I thought I would try something different and add brown frit to the Moet Champagne bottle beads. When you hold these up to the light you see more of the green glowing through. It’s funny how one small change can lead to a whole bunch of new ideas!
