One of the things I love about what I do is that I can pull pieces apart and start again when they don’t feel quite right.
When I finished my Melted Moments project, I was thrilled with the final necklace – long, dramatic and an interesting story. But the few times I wore it, something felt off… it wasn’t quite telling the story I wanted.
So today – I cut it up and reimagined it. The beads are still in their original order, but this time I’ve let them shine on their own, strung simply without a clasp so I can wear it a bit more loosely. Now it feels like the story fits.
What do you think?
(And yes… I also turned the project into a book)!
