And here are some more new necklaces that I have made.  It’s been fun taking apart necklaces that haven’t sold, and putting them back together in different ways.

I have been taking necklaces apart, and putting them back together!  Here are some of the results.  I wish I had taken before photos, but if you know any of my work, you’ll have an idea of what I had before.

Just wanted to show you these pendants and earrings that were made from a Banrock Station Sparkling Shiraz bottle!  I’ve rolled each of the beads in frit while the bead was hot, and then pressed them flat.  I’ve added fine silver wire to some of the beads.  Hard to pick a favourite!

I made all of the beads in this necklace from a Coopers Sparkling Ale bottle!  I have used a variety of techniques to embellish the beads, and I really like how this necklace has turned out.  Hope you like it too.  It will feature as part of the Urban Cow 20th birthday celebrations later this year!

I have set up my exhibition at Canopy Interiors in Mount Gambier, and I’m really pleased with how it all looks.  Here’s a sneak peak:

A lot of people who know me, know that I love making beads from old sources of glass.  I’ve used beer bottles, wine bottles, green depression glass, windows, and all sorts of other pretty coloured glass.

I am quite limited with what I can do with this glass, as there are issues when mixing it with other glass (it breaks)!  So, I can do things like add foil, wire, frit, enamel, mica powder and some other interesting things.  And I can also shape the beads, and add texture with the glass.

I’m getting ready to submit some work to Kirra Galleries in Melbourne for their annual Flame On exhibition, so I’ve been playing around with different finishes.

This particular necklace was made from a  Banrock Station wine bottle, and the beads have been embellished with a sparkly mica powder.  I love how they turned out!

I am getting ready to do a photo shoot today.  The light is perfect!  I love this new range of work, I have already picked out my favourite pair of earrings (ok, maybe 2 pairs)!   Here is a sneak peek of the jewellery.
