Oh dear, I’m slightly behind with my colour play this week! Here is a sneak peak of the beads…now I have to make some jewellery!
Year: 2016
On my walk this morning…
- I am excited about my new Colour Play jewellery! I’ll be starting to show you pieces on the blog on Wednesday. If you would like to be the first to see the collection, simply subscribe to my newsletter. You might even win a pair of earrings if you do!
- I will also have some new recycled glass jewellery ready for my Etsy shop soon.

Colour Play
My final post about the colour red (for a while anyway).
I do love red! I still have people who say they first found out about my jewellery through the “10,000 red glass beads” exhibition. Oh, my, that was probably one of my favourite exhibitions to put together. Such a challenge in so many ways.
This last series of necklaces is based on a necklace that I make every now and then, but when I make this style I use 3 different colours! It can be very colourful indeed. I was curious to see what one colour would look like….and I have to say….I quite like it! Each photo can be clicked and it will take you to the shop.
On my walk this morning…
Thanks to everyone who visited me at Flinders Street Market on Saturday! I am always grateful when people take time out to stop by to say hello and maybe pick up a special piece for themselves or someone else. Thank you!
I’m excited about the week ahead. I’m starting work on a new Colour Play series, and this time it’s quite different from the other collections. I’ll be finishing the Red Colour Play on Wednesday. Next week I’ll have the new collection ready to show you. If you are subscribed to my newsletter, you’ll be the first to see it!
Speaking of my newsletter…congratulations to Chris who won a pair of earrings this month. Thanks for letting me know you are enjoying wearing them (and getting compliments)! That message really made my day.
Instagram?
Just letting you know I am also on Instagram. I know it can be hard checking blogs and FaceBook and all of those things, but you can also find me on Instagram if it’s easier for you.
My name there is @juliefrahm_glass
See you there?
Or I might see you at Flinders Street Market on Saturday? I’ll be there from 11am until 7pm.
Colour Play
On my walk this morning…
It was lovely to be back at Flinders Street Market yesterday! It was quite a long day, and also quite hot, so I decided that a sleep in was in order. I only managed the short walk this morning and got quite a different view!
So, this week I am getting some more work ready for Flinders Street Market on Saturday. I’ll be there from 11-7. If you have any special requests, please feel free to let me know!
Colour Play
Last week I started colour play! I hope to make at least 2 necklaces each week and have them here to show you on the blog.
This week I have 2 new necklaces made from assorted red flower disk beads. I like how both necklaces have exactly the same beads, but with completely different results! (Note: the necklace on the silver chain has sold, but I am making a series of these necklaces in assorted colours if you are interested).
Here are some images, feel free to click on them and you will be directed to my online shop:

Exciting week ahead!
- I get to work in T’Arts on Saturday! I love doing my shift there.
- I am back at the Flinders Street market on Sunday! I have a new display ready to go, and I have some new jewellery ready too. Hope to see you there!
- And, I get to finish 2 uni subjects this week. My final 2 assignments are due on Friday, and that will put me 2 units closer to finishing (I still have a long way to go, but it’s been awesome studying again)!
