Day 50. I made a similar pair of earrings in pink/purple tones a little while ago, and today I found these lovely blues and greens.

Day 50. I made a similar pair of earrings in pink/purple tones a little while ago, and today I found these lovely blues and greens.
Day 49. I wouldn’t normally mix wine and champagne, but it seems to work so well in earrings! Beads made from a Banrock Station wine and Moët champagne bottle.
Day 48. I had some beads leftover from last week, but they were quite different sizes, definitely not a matching pair. I wondered how/if I could use them, and then decided to make these earrings. Similar but different, but similar.
Day 47. Continuing the gold and pearl theme. Lots of movement in these earrings. Glass beads made from a wine bottle, embellished with gold pixie dust.
Day 46. Pearls mixed with gold beads made from a wine bottle and coated in Pixie Dust while the bead is still hot. Loving the contrast here, and you may have spotted a different way to use toggle clasps too 🙂
Day 45. Happy V Day everyone! Hearts all round. Tell someone that you love them. Life is short.
Day 44. Another splash of yellow, this time I have made the beads with the complementary colour purple. It’s kind of a rule that yellow and purple should look good together, and voila they do! Well, at least I think they do 😛
Day 43. A little pop of yellow to brighten your day wherever you are, and how wet you are feeling. I like that the grey beads are similar but different, and the yellow brings them together.
Day 42. Sometimes I think that I will sit down and plan some earrings, and sometimes I do that because I need to make the beads to be able to make the earrings. Then sometimes I sit down and really just hope that I will find some beads in my collection that will work, like today! It’s kind of cool, because I don’t think I would have sat down and drawn these, it’s just nice that they happened.
Day 41. I have been using some of the leftover beads from the wine bottle studs in earrings, you may have already noticed? I usually have to make more than two beads to make a pair that matches, so I often make 6 and then use the beads for other pieces. Hmm, no wonder I have so many leftover beads at the moment!
