Melted Moments Monday. This cup intrigued me when I found it in an op shop. The purple stem was like a rod of glass and I was curious about what might happen to the gold in the flame. I loved melting this glass and transforming it into beads. I was thrilled to be able to make two very different pairs of earrings from all of the test beads. Love the new hooks on the bottom pair!

I’ve always loved making variations of these beads — sometimes square, sometimes round, and this time, flat oval shapes.
Originally inspired by Kandinsky’s Concentric Circles in Squares, this series keeps evolving with small tweaks and subtle shifts.
Same idea, fresh perspective. Now to turn them into jewellery!

Exciting news! I just found out I have a spot at the Murray Bridge Makers Market on Sunday December 7. Looking forward to it. More details to come.

Here until 2.00 today! The Bridgewater Fair is now on. Lots of different things to look at, and the Devonshire tea looks amazing!

Really looking forward to this market.

Melted Moments Monday. I knew something was happening in the flame, but I couldn’t quite tell what until I opened the kiln the next day. All the colour had disappeared, and the beads were full of fizz — not what I was expecting, but still kind of pretty in their own way.

Head up that the one-off pieces on Etsy are almost ready to head off on their next little journey — from Etsy to the market, and then to T’Arts.
This is their last week online, before they go out into the world to find their forever homes.

I am so excited to let you know I will be doing 2 markets before Christmas this year! The first one is on Saturday November 1 at the Bridgewater Uniting Church. There are lots of interesting stall holders attending and a range of things happening throughout the day. Hope to see you there! I will share details of the second market soon.

My latest collection of jewellery is now available on Etsy. I have called it Ocean Sunset. Inspired by the colours where sea and sky meet, the Ocean Sunset Collection captures the shifting hues of the horizon — from deep ocean blues and greens to glowing sunset pinks and purples.
