Necklace 2 ready for judging at the Murray Bridge Show. I really like how all the colours came together in this flower necklace.
I have been looking at that big pile of beads and haven’t really known where to start! So I have started with simply sorting the beads into colour schemes. Colour is a big part of what I do, so this made the most sense to me. Next I will start looking at bead styles. I am not in a rush to get this done, and I want to appreciate and document the process so I can look back on it some day.
Is your collection of jewellery looking a little the worse for wear, or no wear as I am finding mine! I have collected bits and pieces of my jewellery over the years, yet I find myself just wearing the same couple of necklaces and earrings most of the time because they just work with so many of the clothes I wear. I am planning on pulling most of this apart and remaking it into something more in line with my current style. I will show you what I end up making soon! If you would like me to do something similar for you…please get in touch. I would love to give new life to some of your old pieces. Let’s talk.
It’s been a super busy day at @tartscollective today! Lots of lovely interstate and local visitors popping in.
Last chance to get these from my Etsy shop before they head to @tartscollective on Saturday when it’s my turn to work in the shop!
Some of these earrings are still available on my Etsy shop. They are all one-off earrings that are leftover from my SALA Open Studio weekend. I will be taking them to @tartscollective when I work there on Saturday 24/8, if they are still here.
