Bombay Sapphire Gin Love
Oh, I do love the beads that I can make from a Bombay Sapphire Gin bottle. I don’t drink gin (not yet anyway), so if you drink this particular gin, and you don’t want to throw your bottle in the bin, please contact me, and I’ll help you to get rid of it!
On my walk this morning…
It was lovely to be back at Flinders Street Market yesterday! It was quite a long day, and also quite hot, so I decided that a sleep in was in order. I only managed the short walk this morning and got quite a different view!
So, this week I am getting some more work ready for Flinders Street Market on Saturday. I’ll be there from 11-7. If you have any special requests, please feel free to let me know!

The holiday is nearly over! We’ve had such a lovely time, next week is going to be difficult for sure. I am working on a few things, and will have a proper newsletter out soon.

On my walk this morning…
We’ve had some really hot weather this summer, but in between we’ve also had some perfect sunny days. It has been hard to work when everyone else in the house is on holidays! I have really had to push myself to get on the torch.
I am making some new work for a Fringe exhibition at Prospect Gallery. I have almost finished the first necklace. I showed the beads I made to some friends on the weekend, and they were very enthusiastic. I am hoping the finished piece works out. It will be quite different from what I have made in the past, and should suit the theme of the exhibition “Walk on the Wild Side.”

I have been dreaming/planning some things for 2016. Nothing too crazy, because I am actually really happy with how things are going…but you got to aim for something!

Purple Cockatoo
Purple Cockatoo Gallery is a little gallery in Norwood, owned by Ivana DiStasio. I have known Ivana for many years now, since joining T’Arts. She is another glass artist, working her magic with fused glass.
