After a lovely holiday with my family, I am back in my studio this week, finishing off all of the beads and jewellery that I need for the 2 SALA exhibitions that I am involved in this year.
- “Inexclusive” is part of a group exhibition at Cats in the Loft gallery in Port Adelaide. I have loved and hated the freedom of this exhibition. I have had so many ideas, and I’ve had to work really hard to narrow down what I wanted to do. I am installing this exhibition on Friday, ready for the opening on Sunday at 3.00pm.
- “Chroma” is part of a group exhibition at Kuoni Creative in Blackwood. The work I have ended up making for this exhibition is really colourful, and I can’t wait to show you bits and pieces from the exhibition.
I love SALA, and I am always grateful to everyone involved in creating opportunities like this for artists to make new work and get themselves out there!
