I have been wearing this bracelet for a while today, and I have to say it’s actually behaving quite nicely, with the disk beads staying on the top of my wrist. Yay!
Wine bottles come in all sorts of colours, but the pale blue bottle is still one of my favourites! I have used a wine bottle to make all of the beads in these earrings, but they all have different finishes, making the end result very pretty indeed.
In between all of the recycled glass jewellery, I have also found some time to put together a new collection of colour wheel jewellery to start the year! I am a huge fan of the colour wheel, and I really like making these necklaces. I have talked to lots of people about them, and everyone sees them slightly differently. Some people see rainbows, others see chakras, and more recently people have seen marriage equality represented in these pieces. For me, it’s all about the colour wheel. Shop the collection now.

If you have ever had a bottle of Coopers Ale, you might know that it needs to be rolled before you open it. Well, I feel like I am on a bit of a Coopers Ale bottle roll at the moment with this project. Today I am featuring a pair of earrings with a lovely contrast in all of the beads. The same glass, from the same Coopers Ale beer bottle, finished three different ways. Subtle, but so pretty.
Beer bottles and gold leaf are always a winning combo! I’m quite fond of this particular necklace. I love how it really shows off the shape of the beads, and the gold leaf. So pretty, I think I might make some in different colour combinations…

This necklace is made with beads from a Moet champagne bottle, as well as beads made from Peroni beer bottles. Both greens are so different, it was lovely to mix them together in this necklace.
These are some of my favourite beads to make, and I love the mix of colours in this necklace. It feels just right for a warm day like it is here.
I have used an assortment of recycled glass to make the beads in this necklace. It has ended up being a longer style necklace, another option that is perfect in this warmer weather.
I have been making beads from Coopers Ale bottles for a long time, and I still love etching the glass to create a matt finish. Both of these earrings are classics, earrings that you will probably wear forever!
